J W Groundworks is a friendly family run groundwork firm with over 20 years experience in the industry. We offer a very competitive and an extremely proficient all round groundwork's package including; installation of ground drainage incorporating; storm drains, foul drains, manhole replacement and construction, aco drainage, land drains, drain testing, guttering, facias and soffits installation all maintained to building regulations to cover our clients building insurance. We also offer a Plant Hire service for machinary weighing less than 10 tons.
On site reduce level digs to formation level can be expertly taken care of due to our in house excavators which are also available for hire at very competitive rates. We can complete all excavation from lead up to the laying of building foundations whether concrete or steel sleepers are used we can complete this process on time and to budget using our own proven in house methods and materials.
Concreting in general on site is part of our complete groundworks package as we have been laying concrete for over 20 years. We can competently pour foundations, concrete fix manhole rings, steel manhole frames, curb lines, edgings and much more. When we come to pour concrete finish floor level slabs, we use steel reinforcement up to British standards, to help ensure the lifetime of the concrete slab is not compromised. Using qualified and experienced concrete finishers, a brushed finish or power floated effect is easily achievable.
